Grocery Card Program
A Wonderful Way to Help Support Your Church
The Grocery Card program has been helping St. Andrew’s financially since the program’s inception in 2003. Grocery Cards for all major grocery stores as well as Tim Horton’s and Walmart can be purchased in the church hall after the regular church service. For more information about the program and how it operates or to place an order, please contact the program coordinator at grocerycards@standrewspc.ca. The cards are purchased from our supplier at a 4% discount, so you pay only the face value of the card when you purchase it, while the church earns 4%.
In early December the Grocery Card committee places a special order with our supplier, Avgen Incentives for a variety of Gift Cards to be delivered in time for Christmas. Avgen offers Gift Cards from a wide range of different clothing stores, restaurants, gas stations, hardware stores and more. Just like the grocery cards there is no extra cost to the purchaser.
To view the complete list of specialty Gift Cards available from Avgen please click HERE.
(The % column shows the amount the church earns with the purchase of each gift card.) We also have a binder showing Gift Cards available from Avgen in an easy to read format. Mike and Eileen would be glad to make the binder available to you on request.
The order form can be printed at home, completed and delivered to the church or you can email your order to grocerycards@standrewspc.ca in November. Please include all contact information in your email and please note that full payment by cash or cheque is required before your order can be placed.
If the gift card you are looking for is not on the form, we might be able to supply it. Please email grocerycards@standrewspc.ca and let us know which card, denomination, and quantity you require and we’ll do our best to obtain it for you.
We thank the many people who have supported this fundraising program since it started in 2003. Since that time the program has raised over $48,000 for your church!
